INDIANTOWN: A RURAL COMMUNITY
\nIndiantown today is still a small\, quiet\, seemingly sleepy little town just outside the fast paced\, rapidly growing South Florida metropolitan area. It is an unincorporated part of Martin County\, about 15 miles west of Stuart\, and about 8 miles north of the Palm Beach County line.
\nIndiantown is a culturally and ethnically diverse community\, distinctly rural\, surrounded by a rural greenbelt consisting mainly of agriculture. Its location\, history\, demographics and residents make it unique and independent. While these businesses provide many employment opportunities\, there is a substantial gap between the number of employees who work and live in Indiantown.

The Indiantown Neighborhood Advisory Committee meets once a month at the Indiantown Civic Center. These meetings are open to the public\, and begin at 6:00 pm.  If you have any questions\, comments\, or concerns about the projects the Community Redevelopment Agency has planned for Indiantown\, date and agenda for the next meeting can be found here. We appreciate your involvement\, interest\, and investment in the Indiantown Community. Please feel free to contact the Community Development Department staff listed below with any questions\, comments\, ideas\, or concerns.Â
